Step 4 At the C:\ Prompt type, atiflash -ai 0 ,this will provide you with proof that your Video Card does infact exist Step 5 At the C:\ Prompt type, atiflash -unlockrom 0, i suggest you do this because some Bios files are infact locked and can't be flashed until unlocked Step 6 At the C:\ Prompt type, atiflash -f -p 0 5770rom.rom, this is when your Bios is actually flashed I Had the result as on the tutorial and not an error. I did this because I had an error with this tutorial (second step after using the Mac, the command do not correctly flash) : - Step 1 Remove your Video Card from the top PCI-E slot and place it in a different PCI-E slot (this is the step that sets this Guide apart from all the others) Step 2 Reboot on the key (eventually modify the bios to boot on the usb key). Long live the DVI connector! Thanks a lot for the excellent tutorial! It’s not a big deal for me because I use older monitors anyway. The only problem is that the HDMI and the DisplayPort outputs stopped working. Now the computer detects it as an HD 5770. This time I had a bootscreen and I could easily switch between OS-es. I flashed the card and put it back in the Mac Pro. I got a 404 error when I wanted to download Rufus but that was not a problem. chg file, so I found the exact same version you used in the video (v3.79). I thought things may not work without the. :) When I unzipped the ATIFlash folder, I found only one file. I was really hoping for it to have a 128K rom chip and it did! I had some problems finding the files you linked down in the description but I was able to find all of them around the internet. I grabbed the card and put it in my PC, saved the rom. It was running fine but I really wanted to get the bootscreen. It showed “HD 5000 1024MB”, nothing else.

When i apply plugins in the software then scroll around. Scrolling in finders and online websites are very very jittery. And random lines appear on the screen (Major issue). But at the same time does not offer that much more for OpenGL pro app performance relative to the 5770. The 5870 would be the much faster option for raw performance doing 1 thing like gaming. OS X does not offer a 'crossfire' solution. You get 2 cards in OS X for extending display support. Now I updated to Yosemite and it's still the same problems. The 2 cards are not linked for performance. I have notice every since the update to mavericks the video card was not happy. I have a mac pro quad core Mid 2010 with 16gb of ram using two displays which have the stock ATI Radeon HD 5770 video card. I having a problem here with my video card.
